Intangible attractors
The poetry of the indefinite
The seduction of the absurd
The immaterial and uncapturable
The opening to unreasonable pointless territories
The durations in movement
Previous projects have included independent and collaborative practice; and combined various art forms (sound, movement, live art, film & video, installation, sculpture, costume design, digital imaging). In relation to live art and movement, various key processes include 'improvisation'. My art practice involves exploring the potential of sites and contexts. Projects have focussed on multi-storey car parks; castles, suburban homes and furniture; and visionary garden landscapes. Studying philosophy, literature and theory continue to be important to my practice which is accompanied by creative writing - theory, poetic or other texts.
Current practice includes durational live art and movement works; and involves solo and collaborative exploration. New performance work is developed from research in situ in gardens, parks and other outdoor environments.
